What's life like in Grange NS? 

Enjoy our short video presentation on Grange NS. We provide a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all our children. We are a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Cloyne. August:
Wednesday 30th - Welcome back, and a special welcome to all our new pupils. 
September:
Monday 4th - Homework Club starting 
Wednesday 6th - Swimming starts for 3rd, 4th & 5th Classes for 7 weeks
Friday 15th - Infants stay until 2pm
October:
Wednesday 25th - Swimming starts for 2nd & 6th Classes for 7 weeks
Thursday 26th - Scíth na Scoil Final in Mallow
Friday 27th - Hallowe'en Dress up Day & Cake Sale
Monday 30th - Midterm break 
November:
Monday 6th - Back to school!
Friday 10th - School closing at 2pm to facilitate a staff meeting. 
Thursday 16th - Emergency school closure due to scheduled electricity outage.
Monday 27th - Friday 1st December - Wellbeing Week
December:
Friday 1st - Wellbeing Week assembly & Coffee morning for parents 
Monday 4th - Wednesday 6th - Parent Teacher Meetings
Tuesday 12th - 1st & 2nd Classes are being brought to County Hall Cork to turn on the Christmas lights at the invitation of County Mayor Cllr. Frank O Flynn
Tuesday 12th - Senior children's Christmas Concert @ 6.30 - 7.30pm
Wednesday 13th - Junior children's Christmas Concert @ 6.30 - 7.30 pm
Thursday 14th - School closure for staff training on Primary Maths Curriculum
Friday 15th - 6th Class children are visiting Amberley Nursing Home to sing carols and kick off their Christmas celebrations
Monday 18th - Santa Claus will be greeting the children in the morning from 9.10am - 9.30am
Monday 18th - Friday 22nd - Christmas Jumper week, children can wear their Christmas jumpers if they wish
Friday 22nd - 1/2 day school closure for the beginning of the Christmas Holidays! Junior children & siblings to be collected at 12pm, Senior children to be collected at 12.30pm
January 2024:
Monday 8th - Back to school! 
Wednesday 10th - 1st of 8 weeks of Wellness Wednesdays with Mandy
Friday 12th - Assembly 
February 2024:
Monday 5th - School closed for St. Brigid's Bank Holiday 
Thursday 8th - Writing workshop with children's author David O Donohue for 5th & 6th Classes
Wednesday 14th - School closed at 2pm to facilitate whole staff meeting for term 2
March 2024:
Friday 1st - No uniform day fundraiser for the 'Camino for Clíona'
Friday 15th - Grandparents' Day celebration from 9.30 - 11.30am
Monday 18th - School closed for St. Patrick's Day bank holiday 
Thursday 21st - Open Day for all from 1.30 - 3pm and 6 - 7pm. 
Friday 22nd - School closed at 12.30pm for beginning of the Easter break
April 2024:
Monday 8th - Return to school after Easter break

May 2024:
Wednesday 1st - Tony Hartnett coming to do GAA with all pupils

Wednesday 8th - Sciath na Scol Camogie and Football in Fermoy & 1st & 2nd Class GAA Blitz in Mallow
Thursday 9th - 6th Class river habitat exploration 
Friday 10th - 1st Class GAA Blitz Fermoy
Monday 13th - St. Colman's Blitz for 6th Class
Wednesday 15th - St. Colman's Maths Challenge for 6th Class
Saturday 18th - First Holy Communion in St. Patrick's Church, followed by a reception in the school
Thursday 30th - Cork City Sports
Friday 31st - Jumble Sale to raise funds for purchase of O Sullivan's Pitch
June 2024:
Tuesday 4th - Cash for Clobber collection 
Thursday 6th - Senior School Tour, Junior classes off
Friday 7th - Assembly, Junior School Tour and Euro Eddie Soccer Blitz for senior pupils 
Week beginning Monday 10th - Sports Day some day this week, weather dependent
Thursday 13th - New pupils welcome day, 2-3pm
Friday 14th - History walking tour for 6th Class
Week beginning Monday 17th - Food Dudes for the week with all classes
Monday 17th - Orienteering for 6th Class
